WHO IS JAY GREEN??

 

Jay Green has served in several different positions in the church. Everything from Youth Pastor to Senior Pastor, but in 2006 an idea hit him on the way to church. He heard a song playing at the same time on 3 different stations, no live DJs, thus no conversation. Every other format had this, why not gospel? He began to develop a show which featured personalities centered around conversation and great music. Politics, current events, questions about things in the church, none of it is off limits on the show. October 2007, was the first airing of this format under the name “Blazin’ Inspiration” on Blazin 102.3 in Tallahassee, FL.

 

Since then, Jay has went on to revolutionized radio everywhere he has been. He has taken every station he has been on from no ratings to #1 in the format in short periods of time. His success in ratings and finding talent is well documented. He is now the General Manager of Power 910AM in Valdosta, GA. This radio station is only the beginning of a bigger vision to reach the southeast for Jesus Christ. Jay was nominated for “Gospel Announcer of the Year” for the 2012 Stellar Awards. Elder Green is currently the President/CEO of PowerNation Ministries which houses his evanglistic work. Jay Green is the proud father of 3 adorable children, Jalan Eugene, Jayla Renee, and Jayda Michelle Green.
